Beach Spray and Diamond Oil

Ok so today I washed my hair all nice and clean, gunk free! Think it would feel great right? I have been doing some treatments to my hair, for you that don’t know I color and lighten my hair about as often as one would change their drawers. But anyways washed and still feeling like hay in a way (see what I did there) lol.

So I get out and I’m thinking well I’ll have to put my product in tomorrow when I get to Studio 28 Salon (Alexandria, LA) tomorrow for work right! Well me spacing as I do some times, remembers that I have all this trial product sitting in a bag I have placed them to do my reviews on. Well low and behold I have wanted to try out the Beach Spray HealthySexyHair® and I was looking for a shine so of course I had to try out the soon to be released next month Redken® Diamond Oil.

So this beings the review!! Enjoy and of course please let me know what you think and or by voting on the left hand side.

This Diamond oil, which drops May 2013: is shatterproof shine that is a leave-in hair concentrated treatment. It will strengthen and reinforces for smoother, shinier hair while protecting it from breakage. The hair oil isn’t just for “white people” or “Asian” hair etc., the great thing is that it is for all types, and being that it is silicone-free and has all natural oils that will be helping the hair fibers nourish and reinforce those strands. With the Diamond oil its seals, coast and smoothens that nasty cuticle to boost the shine of the hair and protect from friction that can come from brushing styling, etc. This is a “Hybrid Oil” 99% all natural oils, including olive, jojoba, coconut and the sunflower seed oils. I’m telling you this product is going to be going like hot cakes on Sunday with how amazing my hair is shining right now. No Mohawk for a few days as this hair is feeling the moisture and the softness of a puffy cloud in “haven”.

With the matter of not being able to Mohawk the hair for a few days that means we need texture right? Well that’s why I jump on the Healthysexyhair® Beach Spray that is going to deliver texture to the hair, making it look like I just have been laying next to the ocean watching people play volleyball or something. The beach spray helps nourish, protect and heal hair damage with the powers of the Argan oil. So far I have great texture and it even gives a little added volume at the roots without having to go and rewet the hair.  The only down fall for me with this product is that you smell like tanning lotion, which for some it might be totally ok. But for this guy that’s a no.

Hope you all have enjoyed the review, of course if you have any other questions please ask by leaving a comment at the bottom, and again don’t forget to rate the site, with the voting on the left hand side of the blog. Let me know if what I’m doing is enough or if anyone is even reading this.

What A Tease

So there are countless women out there that want that huge big hair. Just because we aren’t in the 70’s don’t mean that the bigger the hair the closer to god saying isn’t still in effect in the 21’st century right? That’s what I said. Bigger the hair the better in my eyes. Well with Bigsexyhair® “What A Tease” that’s what you will be getting. This product is just plan amazing. Yeah you have your powder play from all the product lines and yes even BigSexyHair® has one, but What A Tease is way better. If you looking for that volume you just seem not to be getting then spray some in and watch the transformation happen.

With What A Tease all you do is part the section where you are looking to give that volume. Spray a little bit and after drying your going to separate the hair kind of like you would a banana, giving that teased look. You’re going to do this on nice dry hair. This product is not used for wet hair. When its dry just lightly work throughout the rest of your hair for added texture, which is always a good thing again in my books.

This little bottle of amazing volume is going to come at you in a 4.4oz (150ml) bottle. Since it comes from the Sexy Line it has a Hold of 8, shine of 6, and a Pliability of 3. Now with Sexy Hair that’s their reviews on as you can tell the hold, shine and pliability and all their products receive some kind of rating.

So just remember if there is a tease then get What A Tease aka “Backcomb in a Bottle”. Your going to love this product I promise you. Just a little goes a long ways and you will never go looking for another teasing spray or you’ll leave your hairspray at the armoire, and will only be using this product. For my Personal review I’m giving the BigSexyHair® a 4 ½ star rating. So when you get a chance head out and grab you a bottle and give it a try.

Volume Sunday

The date is the 14th of April and we are in 2013, and todays review is of the amazing Pure Volume Shampoo/Condition by none other than Pureology® (serious color care).

With the Pure Volume brand your looking at zero sulfate, which is what all the professional brand names are working towards doing themselves. This brand uses all natural plant extracts such as ylang ylang, and sandalwood, with some aromatherapy blend thrown in the mix as with like amber, and mandarin.

SO I bet your thinking well what are the great benefits that come from this so-called amazing product. Well if it places the first half of my Mohawk up with no product or tease, I’m going to say it is a great volume shampoo/conditioner. But some benefits are it calms and soothes a possible irritated scalp, for those color lovers it does not strip the color from the hair shaft, it’s a super gentle cleanser. And the best thing is that it smells amazing.

The use of this product as it is a professional grade it is super concentrated so remembering that a little does go a long long way. Drop a Quarter-size amount of shampoo in the palm of the hand, and since it has a rich lather your just going to see super suds on your head, rinse and repeat with hot water if that is necessary. Same with the Conditioner just get a Quarter-size and start at the ends of the hair working your way to the scalp. Once you have finished applying the Conditioner, make sure that you use the cold water on this, and rinse it out. (I know it sucks with cold water but I believe it really helps the hair).

So after trying this product out I have to say that I’m so giving it a 4 out of 5 stars.
